In a recent announcement from the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA), we’ve learned that Germany and Japan are currently in need for more nurses and caregivers.
A GMA News online report also tells us that the Philippines and the Federal Government of Germany’s “Triple Win Project” has opened slots for 70 ICU nurses in the European country. This project aims to fill Germany’s shortage of nurses by hiring professional nurses not only from the Philippines but also Bosnia, Herzegovina, and Serbia. Those interested to apply for the job should have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and a valid Philippine Nursing license. Those who will be hired can expect to receive a monthly salary of 2,000 euros (or about P119,000.00).
On the other hand, Japan has confirmed that they need about 48 nurses and 585 registered caregivers.
The Japan International Corporation of Welfare Services (JICWELS) has enumerated the qualifications for the said positions.
For nurses, applicants should be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing with Board License. The applicant should also have at least 3 years of hospital experience and should be 20 to 35 years old. Of course, the person should be medically and psychologically fit to work.
As for the caregivers, applicants should be a graduate of any 4-year course and is a TESDA-certified caregiver. The application should also be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing (under board) or any allied profession. As with the nurses, the individual should be 20 to 35 years old and is medically and psychologically fit to work.

Resume with 1 piece 2×2 picture
Authenticated College Diploma (for careworker applicants)
Transcript of Records
Valid PRC ID (for nurse applicants)
Employment Certificates (for nurse applicants)
Valid TESDA Certificate on Caregiving (for careworker applicants)
Japanese Language Training Certificate, if any
Copy of valid passport
Valid NBI Clearance (for travel abroad)
