Have you been dreaming of becoming a pilot but don’t have the finances to reach it? Well, this is the chance that you’ve been waiting for; the “study now pay later” scheme of Cebu Pacific. The country’s leading local airlines had announced that they will be accepting 2nd batch of applications for the cadet pilots. The airlines will pick 16 lucky candidates that will attend the fifty six weeks of the program. The lucky candidates will be sent over to Australia and will be able attend an aviation course in the Flight Training Adelaide Campus, Australia.
Once these candidates have their diplomas in their aviation course, they will go back to Manila for their last four weeks of training. With this, they will then obtain their pilot’s license. This is in accordance with the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines. Once these cadets have completed the course, they will be employed by Cebu Pacific and the fee for the course will then be deducted from their salary. This will be for ten years with no interest.
To be able to apply to this scheme, the applicant must have a good command of the English language and a passport holder with ten year validity. The applicants will undergo an online screening and onsite screening for core and aptitude skills. They will have to pay AUD425 or Php15,924.41 for the pilot aptitude core skills test. Normally, training to become a pilot will cost around Php2-3.8M for a year’s program. This is an opportunity you just couldn’t miss. Imagine being able to study for a very minimal amount and a sure employment of ten years after the training. This will be the answer to your longtime dream of being able to fly a plane, earn a good amount of money, and go to places you never thought possible.
