Need to renew your Philippine Passport while you are in Dubai? Well, this article is written for you. If your passport is about to expire soon and you want to renew it or upgrade it to an ePassport, this guide will help you to be familiar with the entire process.
First and foremost, it is important to renew your passport early on so you will not have any problems to encounter when you need to travel back to the Philippines or to any other country.
So be sure to visit the Philippine Consulate General (PCG) office in Dubai to process your passport as soon as possible.
Philippine Passport Application/Renewal Process In Dubai
First, you need to schedule an appointment online. Just go pick an available date at http://dubaipcg.checkappointments.com.
On the appointed date, visit the Philippine Consulate Embassy located in 35 Beirut Street, Extension 2, Al Qusais 3, Dubai.
Once you are there, go straight to the Passport Processing Area. Afterwards, go to the cashier and pay the fee worth 240 AED.
Next, proceed to the Passport Encoding Area where they will need to get your personal information taken and to have your photo taken as well.
Lastly, go to the Releasing Section on the specified date of release.
When visiting the office, make sure to bring the following requirements:
- ePassport fee (240 AED)
- Old passport plus photocopy of the Data page and Visa page (UAE Visa page)
