Here’s a wonderful news for all Filipino nurses looking for new overseas employment opportunities this year.
According to Dominador Say, Undersecretary of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Germany and Russia are in need of 22,000 nurses and both countries are welcoming Filipino nurses for the said job.
In a recent report by GMA News’ Unang Balita, the Labor Undersecretary confirmed this news and even went on to specify that those who qualify for the said can expect a salary of at least P150,000 per month.
Furthermore, qualified nurses who get the jobs may also consider the option of bringing their families to live with them in the said European countries.
Understandably, the news has since been well-received by potential applicants and by their families. Many are hoping to get hired so they can practice their profession and, at the same time, be better providers for their families and loved ones. Besides, healthcare professionals in the Philippines have limited employment opportunities in the country and salaries are usually much, much lower than those offered by overseas counterparts.
Those who are interested to learn more about the qualifications and requirements are encouraged to visit the office of the Department of Labor and Employment for additional information.
Go spread this good news and keep checking this website as we will keep you posted once new details get announced by DOLE.
