Cracked heels are commonly seen on senior citizens but can also happen to people who constantly exert more pressure to their feet pads. Cracked skin may occur anywhere in the body but it is mostly seen on the heel and toes where pressure is mostly exerted.

Home remedies to cure cracked heels:
- Foot mask made from lemon, rose water, salt and glycerine
- Mix salt, lemon, rose water and glycerine in a basin of water where you’ll dip your cracked heels. Have it for 15-20 minutes. Scrub your heels and feet afterwards. Repeat it for several days.
- Vegetable Oil
- Wash your feet thoroughly and apply vegetable oil on cracked heels. Wear socks overnight and wash the vegetable oil in the morning.
- Foot mask made from banana and avocado
- Using a blender, mix together ripe banana and avocado. Apply it to your cracked heels afterwards.
- Vaseline mixed with lemon juice
- Clean your feet thoroughly. Mix Vaseline and lemon juice then apply an adequate amount of it to your cracked heels. Keep it overnight so your feet can properly absorb the mixture.
- Paraffin Wax
- Mix paraffin wax with coconut oil. Heat it in a pan until the wax melts. Give it time to cool down and apply to your heels.
- Honey
- Mix honey with warm water and soak your feet for 15-20 minutes. Scrub it slowly.
- Rice Flour
- Scrub your feet with warm water mixed with rice flour, honey and apple cider vinegar. Do it for 10 minutes.
- Olive Oil
- Massage cotton balls with virgin oil for 10-15 minutes. Wear socks and wash the virgin oil after one hour.
- Oatmeal
- Apply oatmeal to your cracked heels for one hour and rinse it off afterwards.
- Sesame Oil
- Massage sesame oil to your feet every night, before bed.
