While you are staying in United Arab Emirates or UAE there are things must to know when you use your Facebook account upon staying there. This acts must take it seriously or else you’re get into trouble. UAE is an Islamic country so if you didn’t know about Islam or anything of their culture you must be careful. We all knew in every place or country there’s a rule to follow this post is give information for us to be aware to get into any troubles. In Facebook there’s a terms that you allowed them to give your own details.
The TRA warns because Facebook has a broad rights. meaning they can use your content the way they want it.
Avoid Tagging Pictures without consent.
TRA also warns that tagging without permission can be a breach of defamation and privacy laws. This situation possible to send you in jail plus the fine damage. Example: You’ve seen a funny moment and captured photos on them. Eventually you tried to upload and post on your Facebook then you tried to tagged others without their consent.
According on what TRA:
“You are not allowed to operate any application which contains alcohol-related, dating or other mature content without appropriate restrictions”.
“These restrictions are no more than users should expect under the laws of the UAE, which prohibits its publication of content that is contrary to public morals, the principles of Islam and the social and moral welfare of the UAE,” TRA also added.
