Filipina OFW in Bahrain Rescued By Philippine Embassy Through Facebook

Few days ago the video of Filipina OFW seeking for help was spreading online, Abby Luna who posted a video, in a video which made by herself she was asking for help to leave her employer home as soon as possible because she was afraid to her employer’s son who did something wrong to her. Abby Luna, who claims she was raped and beaten by her employer’s son, after she posted the video on her Facebook page. The video attracted about 78,000 shares and 19,000 likes. As the video shown Luna said “Help me get out of here. I’m scared. Until now, my genitals hurt. My leg is bruised. The attacker punched my leg to immobilize me,” based on the 28-year-old, who had been working in Bahrain for a year. She also added “After my employer’s son abused me, he threatened to kill me and bury me in the desert if I tell anyone about what happened.”

Netizens quickly sharing the uploaded video of a Filipina OFW on social media which become viral and catches the attention of Philippine embassy personnel. Right now the Filipina are in safe place in Philippine embassy in Bahrain. Abby Luna also tell her employer about what happened and they did not believe in her claims but instead the attacker said Luna is the one teased him.
