If you are looking for overseas employment, you might want to consider this opportunity.
In a news report recently posted online by ABS-CBN News, we learn that Kuwait Airways are looking forward to hiring more than 200 overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) for their ongoing expansion.
Khaled Almuaili, human resources director of Kuwait Airways, said:
“At the moment, Kuwait Airways is undergoing a huge transformation where we’re gonna really change the map of the airline in the region. We will focus on both ground handling staff, engineering staff, dispatchers and security as well.”
As of the moment, more than 200 Filipinos are already working for Kuwait Airways. Given their satisfactory performance, the company says they also want to prioritize applicants and workers from the Philippines.
“We want to target the Philippines because of the education background, the language and the customer experience. The Filipino, they have a different kind of touch in relation [to others] and to give the customer experience to the employees in all terms compared to other nationalities,” Almuaili pointed out.
Kuwait Airways will be needing workers for the following positions:
- Traffic officers
- Transit officers
- Guest services officers
- Porters
- Baggage sorters
- Ground equipment mechanics
Aside from the competitive salary, the company offers qualified applicants with free accommodation, transportation, food allowance, and plane ticket to the Philippines.
“Ito ay isang magandang pagkakataon para sa ating mga kababayan sa Pilipinas na gustong mangibang bansa, especially dito sa Kuwait.
