The Department of Education in partnership with the Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC) will once again be accepting applications for the (Senior High School) SHS Voucher Program.
The SHS Voucher Program is offered to students who have completed Grade 10 and are aiming to pursue SHS education in private schools, private universities and colleges, local or state universities and colleges. Through this program, SHS students will be granted a subsidy that allows them to enjoy discounts of tuition and other school fees.
So far, over 50,000 non-ESC private school grade 10 completers have benefited from the said program. Through this new batch of applications, more students will be able to enroll in SHS this upcoming school year.

It should also be noted that all Grade 10 completers, whether they’re from private or public schools, who are Education Service Contracting (ESC) grantees are automatically qualified for the SHS vouchers. Hence, they no longer need to apply.
Applications will be accepted from January to February 10, 2017. To send an application, hop online via the PEAC’s Online Voucher Application Portal (OVAP) at http://ovap.deped.gov.ph. According to DepEd and PEAC, results will release on the 2nd quarter of 2017.
