Have you ditched wearing your sleeveless shirts because of your embarrassing dark armpits? Well, looks like there’s still some hope for you.
Here are some effective solutions you can easily find in your kitchen on how to whiten your dark underarms:
1) Potatoes
You have two options when you’re using potatoes. First, you can cut them in thin slices and then rub them directly on your armpits. Second, you can instead grate them and apply their “juice” to the dark areas. Afterwards, allow it to dry for 10 minutes before rinsing. In case you can’t find a potato in your home, you can also use a cucumber as a substitute.
2) Lemon
Use a thick slice of lemon and rub it against your underarm. The fruit will help get rid of dead skin cells and thus can be a big help in whitening your skin. Wash afterwards and use moisturizer whenever necessary since continued lemon use may lead to skin dryness.
3) Egg Oil
Massage the egg oil on your armpit and leave it on overnight. The omega-3 found in egg oil helps you develop new skin cells which, in turn, allows you to have smoother and lighter skin. Wash it off in the morning with a body wash or a pH balanced soap.
4) Brown Sugar
Get 1 cup of brown sugar and mix it with 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil. Apply to your skin for 1 or 2 minutes while you are bathing. Rinse afterwards. Use this at least twice a week.
5) Baking Soda
Dilute baking soda in water and then scrub it on your armpit. After rinsing and drying, use some baking powder dusting to give your skin a whiter appearance.
6) Orange Peels
Dry orange peels under the sun and then grind them until they’re in powder form. After that, mix the peels with milk and rose water. Scrub the mixture to your underarm for 10 to 15 minutes. Use cold water for rinsing.
