No one likes to stand and wait in long lines. That’s why it is highly recommended that clients set a DFA passport appointment first if they need to pay a visit to the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).
Fortunately, you can now use online technology to secure an appointment with this agency.
DFA Passport Online Registration and Required Documents
First off, you should visit https://www.passport.gov.ph/appointment. Fill up and submit the required details. Along with that, you should check if you have all the needed documents on hand. Never proceed with the scheduling if you are still incomplete with the requirements. You will be able to avoid the unnecessary hassle that way.
Verification Link and Printed Application Form
Once you’re done with that, you should then select the date and time for your appointment. Then go back to your email inbox and get the reference number for your appointment. Print the attached application form and bring it to DFA on the date you specified. Also, click the verification link to confirm that you really are trying to set a schedule with them. Do not skip this part since failure to click the link within 24 hours will lead to appointment cancellation.
Important Reminder: Be Punctual
Make sure to be there at the office at least 30 minutes before your appointment. Late clients are not accommodated and so you may have to set another schedule for them the following days.
